Hooray for awesome jeans! absolutely adore my PZI jeans! And my rainbow brite belt that I'll be "getting" for my birthday pressie on the 26th, LOL.

New Home Ahoy!

The girls and I will be "jumping ship" on May 1st into our very own place! I am absolutely ecstatic. The girls are excited too, so we've been super busy trying to get our hands on everything we need for the absolute best price imaginable. Its a challenge, but we're doing pretty gosh darn awesome at it.

Its a really strange feeling being that less than a year ago we had our own home, with everything in it and now we're starting again from scratch. What an undertaking.

The way things are set to go forward though is so meaningful. There's the items that the girls and I have picked out, and then there's the donated items from friends and family. Those items are so special, and appreciated. My house will be a little bit of everyone, just the way a home should be.

I'll be sure to keep you posted on the developments. Things are moving so fast, and in 2 weeks moving day will be here. Yikes!

Yeppers! After a late nap on the way home from daycare this afternoon she fell fast asleep. Woke up just in time for bed... lol.

I missed a day! Already. Which is frustrating. However there is a very good (and equally frustrating) reason to this...

The girls' old daycare called at 6:42 last night and via voicemail quit on me. So I had to run around getting them into their new daycare early, and then getting all their goodies ready to go for today. After contending with all that I just could not concentrate on anything much more than dooter cuddles.

Which leads me to today's picture, Malie wore herself right out at the new daycare. She fell right asleep without all the fighting that I've been contending with the last 2 days. Its a great change.

Loving This Place

I've been heeing & hawing about starting a new blog just for family. And well, gosh darn it, I've finally done it.

I absolutely adore it. The design is super fun, and my header was super easy, quick, and exciting to make. It turned out perfectly.

You can expect to find family updates, etc over here. The Optimistic Beauty Blog will continue to focus on reviews, giveaways, and great deals.

If you look really really really close you can see 2 deer! A very ubber common site in Rupert. Kelowna has their rabbits... we have our deer, and lots of em!

Because I love Picnik so much I've edited this photo to make the deer more obvious. There was actually a third one, the big Mama deer as well. Miss Malie is our resident deer spotter. They were a lot closer at first, but silly Mommy never seems to remember to bring her camera and had to rely on my cell phone to take this shot.
